Starting to get more comfortable knowing that life is made up of a zillion different moments rather than one long “there” is proving helpful.
There is no “there” I need to get to (or can get to, for that matter). I’m not missing any boat or information or anything.
What I actually have, what everyone has, is this literal moment. And then the next and then the next. And I get to choose in this now moment (yes, I actually do get to choose) what I want to do and how I want to feel.
If I don’t like how this moment is going? I can choose differently for the next. And if I don’t like how the next one is turning out? I can try again. Each moment is another try.
