Simply Listen

What if we simply listened?

To words, actions, bodies (any headaches, sore spots, tiredness?), sleep patterns, moods.

What if we quit trying so hard to figure it out and come to an answer/resolution/clarity — and just listened?

To our kids, ourselves, the person next to us.

Listened by simply becoming observant. Listened by asking a question — and then shutting up so we can hear the response.

What might we hear?

What might happen if we take a moment to ask, to listen, to quiet down?

Maybe the answer, resolution, next step to take will show itself faster — by slowing down to listen first.
